PIYAPS Gates Support Foundation recognizes the numerous challenges faced by communities in northern Nigeria, particularly the impact of violence, insecurity, and economic hardship on youths, women, and children. Many families have lost their sources of livelihood, leaving widows with no support system and countless orphans struggling to survive. Without access to education, skills, or economic opportunities, many young people are vulnerable to negative influences, leading to rising crime rates and a cycle of poverty and instability.
Women, often the backbone of families, continue to face gender-based violence, discrimination, and exploitation in their struggle to provide for their loved ones. At the same time, thousands of out-of-school children, especially orphans, are left with no hope for a better future, increasing their likelihood of falling into vices such as drug abuse, crime, and lawlessness.
The urgent need to address these challenges gave birth to PIYAPS Gates Support Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to empowering youths, women, and children through education, skills development, business knowledge, and community support programs.
